 ENG versus AUS Ashes second Test, Day 2 Preview: England end Day 2 on 278/4 as Stokes, Brook save their ship from drowning!


England versus Australia Ashes second Test, Day 2 Preview: Steve Smith scored his 32nd Test ton and Australia extracted the runs from the English attack notwithstanding losing wickets decently fast in the 1st session of Day 2. Smith(110 off 184 balls) was dismissed by debutant Josh Tongue, who had taken his third wicket. Ollie Robinson took the final Australian wicket and restricting the guests to 416 runs. England scored quick runs and looked on top when Australia decided to attack with short balls in the 3rd session. England continued to fire but unfortunately lost three wickets, including that of Joe Root after which Ben Stokes and Harry Brook settled the situations for themselves and led their side to 278/4 at stumps. England trail Australia by 138 runs.
